Nell Johnson, 80 – Post Falls, ID           10/25/1935

Nellie Johnson (Nell) passed peacefully at Kootenai Medical Center on November 7^th, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Don Johnson and their six adult children – Vicki Briscoe, Sandy Forman, Alan Folkestad, Carol Parker, Debbie Merkuris and Kathie Otte. Together they share twelve grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Nell was born on October 25^th, 1935 in Helena Alabama. She raised her four children in Butte, Montana. She and Don married in 1974 and relocated to Post Falls in 1975 where they made their permanent home. In retirement, she was a perfect “snowbird” and loved the warm winters of Arizona. When her health slowed her down, she wintered the last few years at her home in Post Falls.  Nell enjoyed her children coming to visit and loved an afternoon of pinochle and the companionship of local casinos.
