COLA: Double-digit nightmare

According to Social Security, last year we had no inflation, so as a result the payments stay flat. I wonder if they think the seniors are stupid.

Yes, gas prices went down, but every other bill went up. Every time you go to your mailbox some other surprise arrives, or just go to the grocery store!

Avondale Water District just sent me a bill with 50 percent increase because it was too hot. At least they did not blame global warming!

Tell the people what it is: Inflation at double digits! Maybe I used too much water to cook my soft boiled eggs. Yes, they went up too, again double digits.
