Academy Idaho under-14 girls: The Academy beat the Spokane Foxes 4-1. Dillen Duncan scored two goals for the Academy, and Claire Romero and Sarah Hines each scored one.
Academy Idaho U13 boys: The Academy beat the IEYSA Valor 3-0. Braden Ferreira scored two goals, one assisted by Ethan Lawson. Lawson also scored on a penalty kick.
The Academy also beat FC Spokane 3-0. Cody Carvajal scored a pair of goals, one assisted by Alex Moate. Braden Ferreira scored once. Andrew Ferreira and Kameron Heston teamed for the shutout in goal.
This past weekend, the Academy beat the Spokane Pumas 6-1. Aidan Junttilla, Brayson Harrington, Lars Horning, Cody Carvajal, Alex Moate and Ethan Lawson each scored once in the win.

Academy U13 girls: The Academy beat Washington East Team Sky 4-1. Claire Romero had one goal (assisted by Kendall Pickford), Sarah Hines had one goal (assisted by Kaylee Moate), Dillen Duncan had one goal (assisted by Kaylee Moate) and Lilith Tweedy had one goal (assisted by Claire Romero).
Sting 04-05 girls: The Sting beat the Shadow Elite Dobson 8-1 last Saturday. Mackenzie Goings and Jocelyn Dennis each scored two goals, Quinn Kennedy, Mia Bond and Taleya Jones each scored one, and Brynn Johnson scored on a penalty kick.
Sting U12 girls: The Sting tied the Sandpoint Strikers 2-2 on Saturday in Northwest League play. Olivia Wyatt and Zoey Gephart each scored once for the Sting.
Sting U14 girls: The Sting lost 3-2 to Washington East. Jaizee Cessna and Emma Ramage each scored once for the Sting, and Julieanna Stith and Jaizee Cessna each had assists.
Sting U12 girls gold: The Sting played back-to-back games against the IEYSA Breakers G04 Kalua team in PSPL league play on Oct. 24 and 25.
The first game saw the Sting defeat the Breakers 1-0. Isabella Lucky had the lone goal, with Sophia Allen assisting. Danika Nowak had the shutout in goal. On Sunday, the Sting again won 1-0, with a goal from Amy Corette. Holly Hudson had the assist. Danika Nowak and Cooper Horton teamed in goal for the shutout.
On Sunday, Nov. 1, the Sting traveled to Ellensburg to play the Ellensburg Fire, and won 3-1. Isabella Lucky had two goals, and Amber Aittama scored once. Isabella Lucky and Holly Hudson each had one assist.
Idaho Thunder U13 boys Johnson: The Thunder beat the Pullman Pumas 4-1. Devin Logan scored two goals, Logan Koller and Ethan Johnson one each.
Sting U13 boys Arsenal: The Sting finished their fall season with two more wins and their only defeat in their 10-game season. The Sting beat Idaho Academy 3-1 on Oct. 28 at Post Falls High School. Sting goals were scored by Cooper Proctor, Jackson Henkle and Christopher Swider.
On Saturday, Oct. 30, the Sting defeated FC Spokane 1-0 in the driving rain at Coeur d’Alene High. Jackson Henkle scored the goal and defenders, Gavin McFeely, Tanner Blakely, Mason Paskett and Connor Waddell helped goalkeeper Martin Bene earn his fourth shutout of the season.
Sunday’s match against Cobra FC in Othello, Wash., ended in a 6-3 loss for the Sting. Christopher Swider scored two goals for the Sting, both assisted by Cooper Proctor. Connor Waddell scored the third goal.
Sting U9 boys Ronaldo: The Sting defeated the Shadow BU10 SH Navy 7-1. Max Cervi-Skinner scored a hat trick and Zach Cervi-Skinner had two goals for the Sting. Olin Young and Kai Delio each added one goal in the win.
Sting U10 boys Juventus: On Oct. 24, the Sting beat the Academy 1-0. Gunner Larson scored on an assist from Aaron Ivankovich. Gunner Larson, Aaron Ivankovich and Boston Spear teamed in goal for the shutout.
On Oct. 25, the Sting beat FC Spokane Gold - Bly 6-2. Connor Jump had 2 goals and 2 assists for the Sting. Ronan Sternberg had 2 goals and 1 assist. Trenton Anderson and Brayden Ristic each had 1 goal. Gavin Schoener and Max Entzi each had 1 assist.
Last Saturday, the Sting beat the Shadow BU10 Valley Blue 7-6. Ronan Sternberg had 3 goals and 1 assist. Connor Jump had 2 goals and 3 assists. Trenton Anderson had 2 goals and 1 assist. Jensen Elliott, Zack McKenna and Max Entzi each had 1 assist.
Sting U9 girls: The Sting beat the Spokane Shadow GU 10 Valley 8-3. Natalie Thompson had a hat trick, Paisley Goings had 2 goals, and Hadley Green, Rachel Corette and Skye Sijan each had 1 goal.
On Sunday, the Sting defeated The Academy U8/U9 7-2. Paisley Goings and Hadley Green each had 2 goals, and Lucy Simpson, Skye Sijan, and Amelia Hadley each had 1 goal.
Later that day, the Sting defeated the FC Spokane G06 Gold-Sackmann 8-3. Paisley Goings had 5 goals, and Hadley Green, Brooklyn Paskett and Amelia Hadley each had 1 goal.

Later Saturday, the Sting lost to the Spokane Shadow EV. Anna Ploof scored for the Sting, assisted by Sadie Evans.

Girls basketball camp: The Lake City High School girls basketball team, led by Timberwolves head coach Bryan Kelly, will conduct a clinic for grades 2-6, sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Recreation Department on Nov. 11.
The clinic is scheduled for 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Woodland Middle School. Fee is $35 and required in advance. Registration forms are available at the recreation department office at 710 Mullan Avenue.
