FIELDSTONE: On way to ruin

I live in the Fieldstone development in Post Falls. It is a pretty little neighborhood which Hallmark Homes and Viking Homes created. Now, with the help of Viking Homes, this little piece of heaven is going to turn into something else. Viking Homes is rushing to build a 208 three-story apartment complex right at the entrance of Fieldstone. Drive by the corner of Poleline and Syringa and see for yourself. Then, would you think, I sure am glad I didn’t buy there.

Why would Viking want to destroy something they worked so hard to create, money? Or should I ask why the city of Post Falls would allow such a behemoth to be built in the middle of a neighborhood of single family homes? Whose palms were greased? The impact this will have on the streets, schools and police will be increased tenfold. Did anyone think of that? God help our neighborhood.
