SHOOTER: Let him die soon

The other day we buried a hero — one much loved by our entire community. He gave a killer a second chance and ended up with a bullet to his head. I wonder how many reviews and investigations will be made to see if he did the “right” thing? How many more cops will be questioned and actions taken against them to see if they acted properly? I, for one, am sick and tired of this, as it’s going on the national wire. Our neighbor, Spokane, is one of the worst! Where is our sanity? And, how many of you would like to be in that position?

Now we have an admitted killer in jail. There is no doubt he killed Sgt. Greg Moore. Will there be a “trial” to see if he “didn’t” mean to do it? I’m sure the “do gooders” knew he had a difficult childhood. I think this is nuts! We should not have to pay some lawyer to defend this admitted killer. He should go directly to the sentencing phase, and save us the time and money! It is my hope he will be executed shortly —­ not 10 or 20 years from now. Let’s get back to common sense!
