The Social Security Administration released the top five most popular names given to Gem State babies last year.

Noah and Emma were the most popular baby names in the U.S. in 2014.

Since 1997, the SSA has released the most requested baby names, based on requests for Social Security numbers for newborns. The agency reveals the top 10 names for boys and girls each year, and their records date back to the 1880s.
