Post Falls named Tree City USA for 18th time

POST FALLS - The city of Post Falls has been named a Tree City USA for the 18th time by the Arbor Day Foundation.

To obtain the status, cities must achieve standards in caring for public trees, education and public outreach.

The annual free tree giveaway, Arbor Day Poster contest, student field trips and the city arboretum are among the programs the city's Urban Forestry Division provides the community.
