HILDEBRANT: Expressing our deepest gratitude

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring, heartfelt support showed by the community, friends and family during the JoAnn Hildebrant cancer fundraiser at the Post Falls Senior Center on April 25.

We were overwhelmed at the response by those who attended, assisted or who donated. Even though our area is growing, there's still a strong sense of community to take care of each other and we have been reminded of that. It was truly amazing and overwhelming.

It's easier for us to give than to receive, but the support from far and wide are appreciated beyond what words can say.

Please know that your warm thoughts and prayers have been felt by us throughout this process and have helped immensely. We are extremely grateful for having each of you in our lives.

ART SHOW: Thanks for all the support

The Coeur d'Alene Art Association (CAA) would like to publicly express our thanks to members and businesses of our community for their support of our recent successful spring show.

We appreciate Kootenai County Fairgrounds for their great efforts to prepare the venue for a professional looking art show. Special thanks to The Press for their help with our advertising and for publishing an outstanding article by reporter Hillary Main, resulting in nearly 400 people attending our 15th Annual Artist Showcase.

We would like to express great appreciation for our Showcase Gold Sponsors, Susan and Tom Yaberg of A Mini Storage On Third and our Silver Sponsor, Ron Mclntire of Super 1 Foods. Their generosity helped make our Showcase a very special event.

We would also like to express special thanks to our Culinary Business Sponsors for their contributions of food. Pastry and More and Super 1 Foods provided for our splendid Friday evening Public Reception.

Also, The Laser Engravers who provided engraving for our event wine glasses and Texas Roadhouse for donating gift certificates for a raffle to raise funds for art student scholarships our association awards through the NIC Foundation.

As a membership of artists and art lovers, CAA has been sharing the visual arts with the community for more than half a century. We welcome interested visitors and prospective members to attend our General Meetings on the third Thursday of the month. For more information and meeting times, visit us on Facebook or call (208) 676-9132.

Sincerely,

STEPHANIE SATTERFIEL,
