OFFICER: Thoughts of thankfulness

While we were sleeping comfortably in our homes early Tuesday morning, one of Coeur d’Alene’s finest (Sgt. Greg Moore) was stopping a suspicious suspect and was shot. Sgt. Moore was ensuring that our streets were safe and that this criminal would not endanger our families.

We should be thankful we have such fine officers protecting us day and night 24/7. And the next time you see a police officer thank them for keeping you safe.

I urge all the citizens of Coeur d’Alene to send Thank You cards to the Police Department thanking them for their service to the community. This will show our appreciation for what they do and bring some comfort to the department during this critical time.
