<p>A trooper with the Idaho State Police and an officer with the Coeur d’Alene Police Department work the scene of an accident near the intersection of U.S. 85 and Canfield Avenue on Wednesday in Coeur d’Alene. According to the Idaho State Police, the driver, Melinda Duncan, 52, of a Volkswagon Golf was stopped at a red light when the driver of the pickup, Edward Castleton, 54, rear-ended the compact vehicle. Both drivers were transported to Kootenai Health. An investigation into the accident is currently under way.</p>

<p>Steve Hill, of Steve Hill Trucking, Inc., uses his truck-mounted equipment to pick up logs from the side of the on-ramp of Interstate-90 at Spokane Street Monday after a trailer being pulled by a Wes Olson Trucking, Inc. employee tipped over, causing the logs to spill, after the driver failed to negotiate a turn. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.</p>
