Ian C. Everett, 21

| March 15, 2015 9:00 PM

Ian C. Everett was taken from us way too soon at the young age of 21 on the evening of March 4, 2015, due to injuries sustained in a truck accident while working in Williston, N.D.

Ian was born on July 20, 1993, in Spokane, Wash. He moved to Idaho at the age of 2, and attended all of his school years in the Lakeland School District. Ian loved sports and played in Little League baseball, flag and Junior Tackle football, and soccer. He enjoyed all of the outdoors: swimming, camping, cliff diving, snowboarding, hunting - you name it, he did it. He was a fitness advocate, always finding time for the gym no matter how tired he was or how many hours he had worked.

Ian had an infectious smile and everyone that knew him knew that smile. He had such a positive impact on anyone who met him. He had a beautiful, kind, happy and fun-loving 'good mojo' spirit, and was always known for his ability to light up a room when he walked in. He made a lasting impression everywhere he went. He had his own sense of style and we laughed that he was such a "fashionista" - having just as many clothes as his older sister Megan. His taste in clothes was only topped by his taste in cars and trucks - always trading up and having to have the best accessories and stereos and details that made them "Ianbrochill" unique.

Ian was a hard worker. He worked for Clearwater Springs doing various jobs before heading off to North Dakota to work beside a lot of the friends he grew up with. He was loved by all of these guys - both young and old. He worked hard - and then played hard. He lived every minute of his life to the fullest and squeezed every minute out of every day. We are so proud of the wonderful, kind, hard-working man he became. He had just started the search to buy a home here in Coeur d'Alene to call his own.

Ian is survived by his mother, Sharon Cook; sister Megan Everett and brother Ty Cook; grandmother Alma Ward; girlfriend Marisa Randock; and his extended family, stepfather Tom McVay; Savannah McVay and Shayne McVay; and father, Charles Everett.

Ian's life celebration will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 20, at Lake City Community Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Road, in Coeur d'Alene. Following the celebration, there will be a procession to the graveside at Riverview Cemetery on Lincoln Way where Ian will be laid to rest.

English Funeral Chapel of Coeur d'Alene has been entrusted to handle final arrangements. Please visit Ian's online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
