Forest Service RV dump station closed

The Forest Service RV dump station located adjacent to Forest Highway 9 near Shoshone Base Camp along the North Fork Coeur d'Alene River is temporarily closed due to water and sewage leaks at the facility. Repairs are underway, but the facility is likely to remain closed one to two months.

Visitors to the area can dump RV waste at one of several commercial dump stations between Cataldo and Wallace, including one at Kingston. For more information about recreational opportunities in this area, contact the Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District at (208) 664-2318.
