MOUNTAIN: Chamber lends its support

The Rathdrum Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors supports the city of Rathdrum’s development of their 556 acres. It is our belief that the scope of this development will be determined only after input from the citizens of Rathdrum and other stakeholder interest groups.

The Chamber Board is in favor of low impact development such as hiking trails, non-motorized trail bikes and a nature trail that would be handicap accessible as well as for use of the schools for nature hikes. This beautiful recreational area would attract people to our area for recreation. They in turn would shop in the businesses in Rathdrum, eat in our restaurants and maybe even decide they would like to live in our beautiful city. There could be huge economic benefits for the city and in turn for the citizens of Rathdrum. The Rathdrum Area Chamber Board looks forward to developing usage of the property that would benefit the most business to our town for its future enjoyment and growth.
