Brent Aaron Evans, 40, passed away suddenly on June 14, 2015, at home in Coeur d'Alene.

Brent was born in Ontario, Ore., on July 20, 1974. He is survived by his wife, Nicole "Cola"; his children Breanna "Brezzy," Dakota "Cody," Hope "Hopie" and Wyatt "WyWy"; his parents Jeff and Vickie Menter of Hayden, Idaho, and Greg Evans of Warrenton, Ore.; siblings Jeffrey, Anna, David, Damien and Chris; nieces Jordan Ann, Madison and Malaina; cousin Beau; grandmother Jerry Evans of New Plymouth, Idaho; uncle Richard Vest; great-aunts Mary Sue, Betty Lou and Johnnie Mae Riley; aunts Cindy, Toni, Kellie and Janet; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Wanda Gay Riley; and paternal grandfather, Richard Evans.

Brent and his wife Nicole opened Big Bear Landscaping after joining in marriage in 2006. He loved Saturdays at the Farmers Market, traveling with his family, visiting the ocean and doing fireworks on the 4th of July.

Brent was a loving and dedicated husband and father. His wife Nicole, "Cola," was his true soulmate and best friend. Brent's wish of being a dad was a gift he truly adored and lived for, he was an avid outdoorsman and his love of the outdoors was only surpassed by his love and fondness for his wife Nicole and his children. His dad and brothers will miss the outings to the outdoors where no good joke was spared.

Brent loved gardening and shared that love with his mother; she will think of him every day for the rest of her life.

A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 625 E. Haycraft Ave., Coeur d'Alene, under the direction of Fr. Roger LaChance.
