TRAFFIC: This area not so bad

In response to Mr. Gerard’s comments on our traffic lights in our area. We do not live in Chicago or California or any other area the last time I checked. I have timed the traffic lights and in most cases they change every 90 seconds. I do realize that at certain times of the day they have back ups that may cause a little discomfort to some, but for the most part, we in this area have a little patience.

Also I will agree on the signaling when turning is not followed like it should be by some, but I think the law states that you are required to signal when crossing a center line, not when turning into a drive or alley going in the same direction.

I have spent some time in California in high traffic areas and they are not any better than what we have, and in a lot of cases worse. So if I may, I request that you learn to slow down to our way of life and relax; you will find that things are not near as bad as other places. You may even learn to appreciate what we have here and quit complaining. Other than that, welcome to our part of the country.
