COEUR d'ALENE - The Celebration in the Gardens fundraiser held Wednesday evening brought in $100,000 for the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce.

"(It was a) wonderful event supported by 400 generous people committed to the Chamber's mission of promoting and advocating for Coeur d'Alene's businesses," said Chamber President Steve Wilson. "The event also had 32 sponsors that contributed to a terrific and fun fundraising event."

The event included a cruise on Coeur d'Alene Lake Cruise boats and a visit to Duane and Lola Hagadone's Casco Bay home. Guests were treated to gourmet appetizers and desserts and participated in social time, raffles and an auction.

The Chamber's grand vision is "to be the essential business organization providing visionary leadership to our community" with a mission of promoting, supporting and advocating for members with a goal of strengthening the economy. The Chamber is actively involved in the community and hosts big civic events such as Ironman Coeur d'Alene and Fourth of July festivities.

"Thank you to all who participated," Wilson said.
