JETS: Exposing warts on fly-in

On July 22 the Idaho National Air Guard flew two A10 “Warthogs” into our local airport. One A10 was dedicated to the city of Hayden and the other to the City of coeur d’Alene.

There was nothing notifying the people of Coeur d’Alene or Hayden prior to this dedication ceremony nor was there anything in the paper the following day telling of this dedication.

There were approximately 20 people at the dedication when there should have been 200! If I had been one of the two pilots, I would have gotten back into my plane and flown back to Boise for lack of interest.

So, who is responsible for this lack of communication?
