Dan Rankin, 73

Dan Rankin, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, passed away July 24, 2015. He was born July 21, 1942, in Chicago, Ill., to Frederic and Clare Gagnon. Dan was just 73 years old when he passed away at Hospice House in Coeur d'Alene.

He was in the fourth stage of Parkinson's disease when he was diagnosed with pneumonia. His special friend, Mickey, was at his side when he passed.

Dan graduated from the Mainstream Engineering Corporation as an MVAC Technician and worked there until retirement. Dan loved camping and working with wood products. He also loved working with computers.

Survivors include his two siblings: JoAnne and Peter. We'll miss you Dan. God Bless.

At Dan's request, no services will be held. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in care of the arrangements.
