Christensen leads after first round of Senior Oregon Open

PENDLETON, Ore. - Amateur Bob Christensen of The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course had eight birdies and no bogeys en route to an 8-under-par 64 and a one-shot lead after one round of the 54-hole Senior Oregon Open Invitational on Tuesday at Wildhorse Resort and Casino.

Billy Bomar of Prairie Falls shot a 70 and is tied for 15th.

Mike DeLong of The Coeur d'Alene Resort and Tim Morton of StoneRidge each shot 71 and are tied for 21st.

The tourney continues today and concludes Thursday.
