Post Falls Lions Club donates firefighting tool to KCFR

POST FALLS - The Post Falls Lions Club donated a firefighting tool called a "Bad Axx," valued at $325, to Kootenai County Fire and Rescue.

The tool, designed by a Spokane firefighter, can be used for roof ventilation, forcible entry and opening and closing fire hydrants.

Mike Jarrett, Lions Club president, said club members agreed to purchase the tool because it would benefit the community.
