THANKS: Kindness isn't alien concept

My granddaughter and I were at the Coeur d’Alene Exchange Friday, July 24, when my granddaughter asked the cashier how much a little stuffed alien cost. She was told 25 cents and we told the cashier we would be back after we got the money from our car. Upon returning, the cashier told my granddaughter that a nice lady behind us in line paid for her alien and that she could keep her money.

My granddaughter was so surprised and happy. I wanted to thank this nice lady for her kindness and for giving me the opportunity to teach my granddaughter about paying it forward. It may have seemed like a simple gesture but it meant the world to my granddaughter. Thanks so much.
