Splash Free Kids Day at Cabela's on Saturday

POST FALLS - The Splash Free Kids Day will be held at Cabela's in Post Falls from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The free family event is intended to encourage kids to enjoy outdoors activities.

The schedule of events includes:

* 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Bounce and slide on the Big Kahuna;

* 10 a.m. - Life jacket safety with the Kootenai County marine patrol

* 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Pop-for-a-prize at the archery range (for ages 12 and under)

* 11 a.m. - Sample pizza grilled cheese sandwiches on the Biolite Stove (Stove uses materials such as pine cones and twigs for fuel and is portable.)

* 11:30 a.m. - Unplug and play

* Noon - Youth casting

* 1 p.m. - Water gun duck racing
