Motorcyclist injured in U.S. 95 crash

A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday when he was ejected from his bike while traveling northbound on U.S. 95 through the intersection at Hanley Avenue.

Dick Jones, 69, of Clarkston, Wash. was transported to Kootenai Health, and his 2006 Harley Davidson was towed from the scene.

According to Idaho State Police, Jones was traveling northbound through the intersection when he attempted to stop for traffic and was ejected from his motorcycle. Jones was not wearing a helmet. He was in serious condition Wednesday night at Kootenai Health.

The crash is under investigation.
