COEUR d'ALENE - Anne Hagman has joined Idaho Central Credit Union as its local business development officer. Hagman's role is to grow membership, develop Idaho Central's presence, and to help members achieve financial success through financial education in Kootenai and Shoshone counties.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Hagman began her professional career in 1985 as the area manager for a national employment service, establishing new markets for the organization. She left that company to pursue human resources for a large residential developer/contractor in Hawaii and later a multi-state timber company in Coeur d'Alene. With the demise of timber, she returned to marketing, this time for a large commercial contractor in Coeur d'Alene.

In 2006, she began her career of working for credit unions and serving the community with credit union resources. Hagman joined the Idaho Central Credit Union team in June.

Hagman has a B.A. in political science from the University of Hawaii-Hilo, a master's in organizational development from Gonzaga University, and previously held a Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR).

Hagman has a long history of community involvement including Human Resource Network of North Idaho (past president), International Association of Administrative Professionals (past president), American Cancer Society of Kootenai County (past board member, North Idaho College Advisory Committee, Marketing Associates of Spokane, Coeur d'Alene Chamber Business Development Committee (past chair), Coeur d'Alene Chamber Executive Committee (past vice chair), EXCEL Foundation, (past board member and Big Event chair). She is currently the Post Falls Chamber - Reverse Job Fair Committee chair, Spokane Valley Partners board president, and a member of the North Idaho College Foundation board of directors.

Hagman is a longtime Chamber of Commerce advocate, first becoming directly involved with the Coeur d'Alene Chamber in 2003 when she joined Leadership Coeur d'Alene.

Idaho Central was organized as a state chartered credit union in 1940. The credit union's administrative office is located in Chubbuck.

Idaho Central has 600-plus employees serving more than 200,000 members with 26 locations throughout the state and over $2 billion in assets. The company's most recent location in Coeur d'Alene resulted from a merger with Public Employees Credit Union.
