Betty J. Jones, 85

Betty J. Jones passed away Sunday night on July 12, 2015.

She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Merle H. Jones and three of her children, Paula Ann Moos and her husband, Warren of St. Maries; son Gregory T. Jones of Virginia Beach and his wife, Robin and son Matthew; and the eldest son Merle B. Jones of Spokane, Wash., and his two children.

Betty and Merle's years of marriage evolved with a lot of moving. Her husband retired from the Army. The family spent three and a half years in Karlsruhe, Germany, and two different times in Ft. Lewis, Wash., and time in Minnesota.

She has a sister in Butte, Mont., Gloria Dunn and one in the Miami, Fla., area, Bonnie Collins. A large family of nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to list. Her sister-in-law, Shirley also lives in Butte.

My thanks goes to the senior centers of Rathdrum, Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene for their thoughts and wishes. The arrangements are being cared for by English Funeral Chapel. No services will be held.
