Boise squad beats Cd'A for state Majors title

HAYDEN - Cannon Morgan hit a three-run home run and also hit three doubles as West Valley of Boise beat Coeur d'Alene 13-3 to win the Idaho state Little League Majors (age 11-12) championship Sunday at Croffoot Park.

West Valley won the final two games to capture the best-of-three series for the state title 2 games to 1.

West Valley advances to the Northwest Regional tournament Aug. 9-15 in San Bernardino, Calif.

Josh Peczeniuk hit a two-run homer for Coeur d'Alene, and Trent Elstad added a solo homer.
