Big Wheel race winners announced

POST FALLS - More than 150 spectators cheered on 70 youth racers during the annual McDonald's Big Wheel Race on Saturday.

The event was hosted by Post Falls Parks and Recreation during the Post Falls Festival at Q'emiln Park. Placers included:

* 3-year-olds - 1. Austin Hill, Coeur d'Alene; 2. McKenna Scott, Post Falls; 3. Jordyn Shaw, Post Falls

* 4-year-olds - 1. Lukas Hewitt-Nord, Post Falls; 2. Simeon Black, Post Falls; 3. Pandora Bateman, Post Falls

* 5-year-olds - 1. Jaydn Berland, Coeur d'Alene; 2. McKenna Crouse, Post Falls; 3. Aubrie Blackburn, Post Falls

* 6-year-olds - 1. Oliver Lavy, Post Falls; 2. Alexys Scott, Post Falls; 3. Summer Cox, Post Falls

Children who placed first, second and third received a trophy donated by Awards, Etc., and a McDonald's T-shirt.

Every child who participated received a ribbon and a McDonald's Happy Meal.

Every racer was entered into a drawing for a Big Wheel donated by Knudtsen Chevrolet.
