| July 17, 2015 9:00 PM

Devin Kluss had two hits and three RBIs on Thursday for Coeur d'Alene, but Kent scored seven runs in the fourth and fifth innings and never looked back in its 13-6 win over the Lumbermen in their first game of the Baden Northwest Invitational at Kent Memorial Park in Kent, Wash.

Stephen Vaudreuil and Gibson Green each had two hits for Coeur d'Alene.

Dominic Conigliaro gave up four runs over four innings for the Lums. He struck out seven.

In its second game Thursday, Coeur d'Alene lost 8-3 to En Fuego Baseball Club from Seattle in a game at Kennedy High in Seattle.

Robert Emery of En Fuego hit three home runs, including a three-run shot in the first inning.

"For the most part, their team's full of Division I talent," Lums coach Zach Clanton said of En Fuego Baseball Academy. "It seemed like it was impossible to get an out on the day."

Coeur d'Alene (25-14) plays both games today at Newport High in Bellevue, Wash. Its first game is against the Lightning Blue out of Colorado. The second game is against the Seattle Select.
