COLUMN: Lost another vote

Mr. Purtee’ s My Turn rant drones on and on. A couple of questions…

Does Mr. Purtee realize the Affordable Care Act was just a reaction to millions of uninsured workers who show up at the ER for any health care issue? Maybe his food service employees especially?

Mr. Purtee actually wanted five of the high court’s unelected nine wise men and women to legislate from the bench to overturn the Affordable Care Act that elected officials passed that he didn’t like? Sounds like he did.

Could it be that Mr. Purtee having had uninsured workers is more the culprit than the cure? Maybe Mr. Purtee was outvoted by his employees. Bummer.
