The St. Vincent de Paul Steak Fry, celebrating its seventh year

Smell the steak cooking, hear the music playing and enjoy one of the biggest summer events in North Idaho. On Saturday, July 18 at 5 p.m., St. Vincent de Paul is hosting their seventh Annual Steak Fry at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

Kick up your heels to the Kelly Hughes Band and Colby Acuff with Justin Sherfey, or If you prefer, relax and enjoy some of the best musicians in North Idaho. Tickets are only $25, which includes a steak dinner prepared by award-winning pitmaster Jeff Selle. If you wish, be a sponsor and secure a front table for $500 which includes eight dinner tickets.

The proceeds from this evening help provide warming centers for those without adequate protection during our cold months. It is difficult to imagine being cold during these warm summer days. The weather will change and people living in their cars and outdoors will need help. The warming centers are only one of the many services St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho offers the homeless and those struggling in our area.
