OBAMA: Friend of our enemies
How embarrassed, angered and disgusted I am with our so-called Chief Executive and Commander in Retreat.
Recently we learned once again that sucking up to Iran, Cuba and other nations considered our enemies is not enough for our so-called supreme leader, now he wants to suck up to Vietnam.
Vietnam has been a human rights violator ever since the war, and probably far beyond. I am — and have been for years — involved in trying to help persecuted Christians in Vietnam. In one case I know of personally, the husband was arrested in the middle of the night in April 2002 for being a Christian Pastor. He was charged with “public disturbance” for holding meetings in his home. I cannot give names or locations for fear of retaliation. When the wife went to the police station in the morning to find out where he was they would not tell her. She did not hear a word for 25 months despite many pleadings, finally finding out where he was despite authorities trying to keep it secret.
Finally after three years she was able to make a two-day trip nearly 800 miles to see him, thanks to another Vietnam Christian ministry. She was allowed just one 30-minute visit. During that visit they were so emotional they could not speak for almost 20 minutes. She said he was blind in one eye from continual beatings and was extremely skinny. She also learned he had been sentenced to seven years hard labor.
He encouraged her and their children to stay strong, keep the faith and pray for his release. The seven years passed and he did not return in 2009. Not too long after that the government found out that she was getting some financial assistance. They came to her home, forced her to take her meager belongings and drove away with her and her family in a military truck, never to be heard of again.
Today there are hundreds of Christian Pastors in Vietnam prisons with no hope of a fair trial, no hope of coming home to family or being free. They will most likely die there. They will be forced to work until they drop dead on the minimum amount of food and water to keep them alive.
That, my friends, is the kind of despots that our so-called leader wants to snuggle up to! He has no shame — none. It is another sad day for America.
What kind of legacy does one hope to produce snuggling up to heathen enemies at any cost? Where is the moral fiber this nation was founded on?
