Rathdrum 3-on-3 hoops tourney set for Saturday

RATHDRUM - Entries are still being accepted for the annual Rathdrum 3-on-3 street basketball tournament, a staple of Rathdrum Days, scheduled for Saturday at Lakeland Junior High beginning at 9 a.m.

Divisions include fifth/sixth grade, seventh/eighth grade and high school, as well as adult divisions for ages 18-25, 26-34 and 35 and older. Divisions are male, female and coed.

Entry fee is $80 per team, and entry deadline is Monday.

Miller leads by two heading into final round of Lilac

Brian Miller of Indian Wells, Calif., shot a 66 for a 54-hole total of 196 and a two-stroke lead after three rounds of the 52nd Lilac City Invitational on Saturday at The Fairways at West Terrace.

Tyler Falk of Springfield, Ore., shot 66 and is in second place. Jesse Schutte of Florence, Ore., shot 65 and is one stroke back in third.
