Michael G. Smith

Michael Gene Smith went home to be with his savior on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at his home. Mike was born on October 23, 1953, in Tacoma, Washington.

He is survived by his wife, April Dawn Smith; his son, Anthony William Smith; two granddaughters, Zephra Smith and Zhayna Smith; his mother and stepfather, Boyd and Arline Joyce; his father and stepmother, Ron and Fran Smith; his sister, Pamela Jo Smith; his brother Dale Alvin Smith; a stepdaughter, Kelcey Jean Walker; stepson, McKenzie Laurence Harriman and wife, Amanda Dawn Harriman, and their daughter, Emma Belle Harriman; stepson, Lane William-Casey Harriman; and many friends in the Post Falls and Spokane Valley area, as well as his church family at the Real Life Ministries, Post Falls.

Mike graduated in the first graduating class at Rogers High School in Puyallup, WA and from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID and pursued a career as a Solutions Analyst.  He was employed at the Canon shop in Spokane Valley for several years.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Real Life Ministries Church in Post Falls.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
