STATE ASA: Crush 10U win tourney opener at Ramsey

COEUR d'ALENE - The Coeur d'Alene Crush 10-and-under team was the lone local winner on the first day of the state ASA 12-and-under and 10U softball tournaments at Ramsey Park.

The tourneys continue today and conclude Sunday.

At Ramsey Park, Coeur d'Alene

Idaho Flash 8, Spokane Diamonds 5: Naomi Taylor-Butterfield allowed four hits in the win.

Boise Blast Lamb 7, Northwest Wildfire 5: Morgan Lamb went 2 for 4 and scored two runs in the win.

Spokane Stealth 10, Dry Ice 2: Megan Lohr threw a two-hitter and Annaka Tibbits went 4 for 5 with two RBIs in the win.

Idaho Sliders 17, Spokane Diamonds Kirschner 1: Oakleigh Kearby pitched a one-hitter with seven strikeouts, and also drove in three runs in the win. Teammate Loren Walker went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and three runs.

Idaho Crossfire 13, Diamond Bandits 4: Natalie Brown went 3 for 4 with three runs scored in the win.

Spokane Crash 2000 8, Boise Blast Cox 1: Megan Isayen pitched a one-hitter and struck out six in the win.

Meridian Ruckus 6, Lewiston All-Stars 5: highlights not available.

South Idaho Ice 8, Spokane Stealth Palmer 4: Kaitlynn Ayers went 2 for 4 with a double and single and Mercedes Bell went 2 for 3 with two runs scored in the win. Jillian Taylor went 2 for 4 with two runs scored for Stealth.

Idaho Flash 10, Vallivue Nitros 0: Naomi Taylor-Butterfield threw a three-hitter and struck out five and Taylor Brewer went 2 for 4 and scored three runs in the win.

At Ramsey Park, Coeur d'Alene

Spokane Stealth 23, Dry Ice 1: highlights not available.

Boise Blast 10, Northwest Wildfire 0: Gracie Giffin threw a one-hitter and struck out seven and Carson Irwin went 2 for 3 with two runs scored in the win.

Coeur d'Alene Crush 22, LC Warriors 1: Madison Cleave threw a one-hitter in the win. The Crush scored 12 runs in the fourth inning.

Spokane Mudhens 6, Idaho Sliders 5: Isabella Bay hit a two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning for the Mudhens. Abby Vanderweil went 3 for 4 for the Sliders.
