| July 10, 2015 9:00 PM

Tim Behrens, known for his portrayal of Sandpoint native Patrick McManus' humorous stories, is coming to the Community Library Network at Post Falls for a free one-night-only special performance on Wednesday, July 22. The show starts at 7 p.m. The library will close at 6 p.m. and reopen at 6:30 p.m. No reservations will be taken, so come early for the best seating and a cookie.

"The Best of McManus," sponsored by the Post Falls Library Foundation and the Friends of the Post Falls Library, has won rave reviews the world over. Nikki Luttmann, foundation president, said, "As the kick-off for the library's Centennial, Behrens will set the right tone, with a night of laughter suitable for all ages, from 1 to 101." The family-friendly show is the fourth Frank Henderson Speaker's series presentation.

Written by nationally celebrated humor writer Patrick F. McManus and starring his indentured actor, Tim Behrens, the full-length, one-man show has toured 21 states and Canada, playing to more than 400,000 people over the past 22 years in 1,600 performances.

The "Best of McManus" Show is a savory stew of stories taken from all five of the shows and assembled especially for this Post Falls performance by Pat and Tim.
