EXPERTS: Proud to be enlightened

Thank you, Mary Budd, for the letter you wrote about me in Sunday’s newspaper. ‘’Most enlightened writer in North Idaho.’’ Even though I am sure you did not mean it that way, I will take it as a compliment.

I only quote the experts. The scientists and even the Pope. You do not need to be an expert on the climate, just step outside and take a deep breath of the smoke in the air, or try to swim in Fernan or Avondale. I wonder how many deer, elk, moose and other animals will get sick or die from drinking the water from those lakes?

As far as the Pope staying out of politics, maybe the Republicans should stay out of religion. When asked about climate change the Republicans reply, “I am not a scientist.” They are not doctors either but they sure have a lot to say about the female reproductive system.

I am no expert. I just like to stir up some “TEA” once in a while to see what kind of reactions I will get and it seems like I get plenty.

I will finish by saying thank you Donald Trump for your remarks about Mexico and thank you Rand Paul for your association with Cliven Bundy the welfare rancher. Bundy, the one Fox News dropped like a hot potato after his remarks about the negroes and picking cotton. You Republicans sure know how to reach out to get the minority vote.
