COURT: Rainbow before the storm
On June 26 the Supreme Court ruled that gays had the right to marry. That night the White House was lit up in the gay pride rainbow colors, celebrating that Supreme Court decision.
As I watched them celebrating, I was fully aware that they were fulfilling the scripture in 11 Peter 3:5-7. “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water (the flood) perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly men.”
Willingly ignorant that God created the heavens and the earth. Gen 1:1
Willingly ignorant that God flooded the earth in judgement. 11 Peter 3:6
Willingly ignorant that “The Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah.” Gen 19:24
Willingly ignorant “And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly.” 11 Peter 2:6
Willingly ignorant that God has already begun judging America. Consider the nearly 300 forest fires raging in Alaska, the west coast in severe drought and heat, and the midwest to the east coast which are experiencing unprecedented floods, tornados and hurricanes.
In the late ’70s I also met Pastor David Wilkerson, author of the book “The Cross and the Switchblade.” Later he wrote in one of his newsletters that God had given him a vision of America. In that vision he saw “America in ruins and burning.”
Willingly ignorant that God sits on the Throne; that God is the Supreme Judge of the Universe.
Willingly ignorant of what God has said to mankind about what kind of lifestyle is pleasing and acceptable in his sight.
I tell you the truth America, you will not rest in peace.
