DEMS: Wrong party for racism

The ridiculous Fink letter blaming Democrats for the ails of Confederate flag-waving racism begs the question: if Democrats are racists, then why do 19 out of 20 blacks vote Democratic? Or 3 out of 4 Latinos or Asians? Or 2 of every 3 single women?

Labels change, Mr. Fink. Lincoln’s party and the party of the Republican vulture capitalist northern carpetbaggers seizing a broken, devastated southerner’s land for back taxes meant any white southern man was a Democrat. Women and minorities didn’t vote then. But they do now. And not Republican, by the way.

It took a full century since reconstruction for minorities and women to gain the right to vote and win Democratic primaries that repulsed Confederate flag-waving white segregated men to change their stripes to Republican.

Manure still smells like manure by any other name, Mr. Fink.
