Clifford Loyd Loutzenhiser, 59
Clifford Loyd Loutzenhiser, 59, passed away at home on June 28, 2015.
Cliff was born in Lewiston, Idaho, on Nov. 1, 1955. He was raised in both Coeur d'Alene and the Dalton Gardens area. Cliff joined the Navy in 1975, and married Sheryl that same year. They moved to El Cajon, Calif., when his enlistment was up. Then, in 2008, they moved back to North Idaho.
Cliff had many passions in life. He was devoted to his wife, Sheryl. He loved his wife and children, but his grandchildren were the joy of his life. Cliff was an accomplished sailor, and spent many happy hours with Sheryl aboard their boat in San Diego. He worked for the Children's Hospital in San Diego in the maintenance department for 15 years, then for the Sutherland Group on the help desk until 2005.
Cliff could be counted upon to help friends and strangers alike with mechanical repair projects. He was also an accomplished computer expert, solving problems that mystify most people.
He is survived by his wife, Sheryl; son Paul and daughter-in-law Aaron, grandsons Carter and Payton; son Mark and daughter-in-law Danielle, grandchildren Tyler, Amanda, Zachary, and Grace; sister Barbra Goggins and brother-in-law Tim Goggins.
The service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1700 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Coeur d'Alene.
English Funeral Chapel of Coeur d'Alene has been entrusted to assist with arrangements. Please visit Cliff's online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
