Patrick Donavan Lusk passed away May 17, 2015, due to a canoeing accident on the Salmon River outside of Riggins, Idaho.

He was born in Boise, Idaho, July 23, 1987, and was the second of three sons to Alan and Cathy Lusk. Surviving brothers are Christopher and Erin Lusk.

Patrick was a graduate of Eagle High School in 2005 where he enjoyed being part of the high school wrestling team. He later graduated from the diesel technologies class at North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Megan, the love of Patrick's life, was the sister of his roommate and good friend, Zack Richerson. They were married in February of 2014. Patrick's mother, Cathy, was able to see Patrick and Megan marry before succumbing to cancer in September of 2014.

Patrick deeply loved his wife Megan, and his chocolate lab Moose. They camped, hiked and went on many jeep outings with friends in the Coeur d'Alene and Montana areas.

Patrick worked for Ground Force of Coeur d'Alene building mining equipment where he was a fabricator. He was a lead man on a production line, and made Employee of the Year for the company in 2014.

Patrick was loved by family, friends and co-workers alike. If you weren't friends with him, you hadn't met him yet, and if you met him you soon would be a friend. He could talk to anyone young or old. He liked everyone he met and everyone liked him.

A service to honor Patrick will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, at Lake City Community Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 83815. RSVP requested for those attending. Contact Alan Lusk at boisebasin@msn.com or Megan Lusk at Miss_megan92@hotmail.com.
