LAG: Just blame Democrats

Although the confederate flag came down, hypocrisy over who put it up is in the spin cycle.

It’s ironic that Tea Party candidates are the ones who had it taken down after it was put up by a Democratic governor and his party. While Dixiecrat Democrats in the south spawned the KKK and fought for segregation, they now call the other party racists. The southern states who fought for slavery were Democratic, and they controlled Congress when FDR failed to get an anti-lynching bill passed.

While Hillary now says it shouldn’t fly anywhere, she and Bill issued a proclamation and celebrated confederate flag day in Arkansas.

Locally, the liberals continue to deride our whole community for a compound with a demented old man and “two” skinheads who came from likely the same place they came from. They played the press like a bad tuned banjo to make themselves heroes at the expense of the community’s reputation.

When Johnson needed to pass the Civil Rights Act, he had to get Republicans to vote it in as he didn’t have Democratic support. The flag, Jim Crow, Medgar Evers, segregation and the KKK all belong to the Democratic Party while they pretend to change stripes or claim different color. Hypocrites will always point to someone else. Democrats own that flag and all it stands for.
