Cd'A Chamber presents annual putt-putt tournament
COEUR d'ALENE - Registration is underway for the seventh annual Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce B.Y.O.Putter putt-putt golf tournament on July 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Parkside Towers, located at 601. E. Front Avenue, on the third-floor patio.
Cost is $25.

Top-10 finish for Bayley at IGA Women's Amateur
CALDWELL - Chelsea Bayley of Rathdrum finished 10th at the recent Idaho Golf Association Women's Amateur state championship, which concluded Sunday at Purple Sage Golf Course.
Bayley shot 78-77-78-233. Gabrielle Barker of Caldwell shot a 6-under-par 207 (71-70-66) to win by four strokes over Amanda Myers of Idaho Falls.
Chiefs trade Laday, select Andersen in import draft
The Spokane Chiefs traded defenseman Tamas Laday to Medicine Hat in exchange for an 8th round pick in the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Laday played 60 games for the Chiefs last season, recording six assists while piling up 104 penalty minutes (second-highest on the team). He added an assist and 12 penalty minutes in six playoff games.
On Tuesday, the Chiefs selected Niklas Andersen with the 26th pick in the CHL Import Draft.
Andersen, an 18-year-old forward from Esbjerg, Denmark, scored 11 goals and seven assists in 36 games with the Esbjerg Energy in the Metal Ligaen, Demark's premier hockey league. Andersen also played in nine games with the Danish Under-18 team and competed in the IIHF U18 World Championship Division I Group A.
Andersen, 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, will be eligible for the NHL Draft beginning in 2016. He joins Austrian forward Dominic Zwerger as the Chiefs' two allowed European import players headed into the 2015-16 regular season.
