PREP WRESTLING: Lake City romps past Timberlake in Terhark tuneup

SPIRIT LAKE - Killian Konda (152 pounds) and Cory Fachar (160) each won by an 8-5 decision for the Lake City Timberwolves in a 60-22 victory over the host Timberlake Tigers on Tuesday night.

"Both Killian and Cory wrestled tough kids in tough matches and got us out to a great start tonight," Lake City coach Corey Owen said. "It was exactly what I was hoping it would be and hopefully the kids will be ready to wrestle tomorrow."

Lake City hosts Coeur d'Alene in the annual Terhark Cup match today at 3:30.

Timberlake competes in the North Idaho Rumble on Friday and Saturday at Coeur d'Alene High.
