Wendy Hodges, 53

Wendy Hodges, 53, passed away on Dec. 29, 2014, at Hospice House of Coeur d'Alene.

A longtime horse lover, Wendy enjoyed photographing area equine events such as Ride the West and Draft Horse shows. Many of her photographs were featured in variety of equine magazines. An award-winning photographer, Wendy captured the spirit of family members, clients, places and animals of all kinds.

Spending time with family was important to Wendy, and she was especially devoted to her granddaughter, Paige. She is survived by her husband Rick Hodges; mother Mary Ann Coomes; sister Donna Patterson and brother Jon Patterson; children Mitchell Reeves, Jessica Reeves, Chelsea Reeves, and Matthew Reeves (wife Caitlyn Reeves); granddaughters Kenda and Paige; stepson Richard Hodges; faithful companion Hank the cattle dog; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Wendy's family would like to offer a special thank you to Hospice of North Idaho for their kindness and care, with special thanks to Katie and Lori.

A celebration of Wendy's life will take place on Friday, May 8, 2015, with time and place to be announced later.
