Marie Scheller Madsen, 95

Marie Scheller Madsen, 95, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Marie was born June 17, 1919, to Warren and Elizabeth Maine in Post Falls, Idaho. She married Irvin Scheller and they lived in the Silver Valley for 32 years. She was a charter member of the Silver Valley Sweet Adelines.

In 1974 Marie moved to Coeur d'Alene. She traveled extensively to foreign countries.

Marie married Glen Madsen in Hawaii in 1986. They enjoyed family, traveling, gardening, reading and their computers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, sister and brother-in-law.

Marie is survived by daughter Janet Morse and husband Gene of Coeur d'Alene, and son James Scheller and wife Trish of Redmond, Ore.; stepsons Terry and his wife Sue Madsen of Spokane, Wash., and Gary Madsen; stepdaughter Becky Bilodeau of Florida; nephew Harry Droshia of Osburn, Idaho; four grandchildren: Debi and Rusty Price of Spokane, Dave and Denise Morse of Coeur d'Alene, Jim Scheller of Arizona and Jeff Scheller and wife of Arizona; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
