Sen. Crapo's schedule changes for N. Idaho visits

| February 27, 2015 4:58 AM

Washington, DC – Today’s U.S. Senate votes on funding the Department of Homeland Security mean that Idaho Senator Mike Crapo must cancel planned town meetings in Hauser and Dalton Gardens that were scheduled today. Crapo is voting against a DHS spending plan because of President Obama’s executive orders regarding immigration reform.

Saturday’s meetings remain scheduled unless Senate business runs late in the day Friday. The town meetings were set before the Senate schedule changed.

Here is the original schedule for town meetings:

Today:

CANCELLED: 1:30 PM Hauser Town Meeting, Embers Restaurant, 12008 N. Woodland Beach Drive

CANCELLED: 3:00 PM Dalton Gardens Town Meeting, Dalton Gardens City Hall, 6360 North 4th Street.

Saturday, February 28:

8:00 AM Fernan Town Meeting, Michael D’s Eatery, 203 Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive

3:00 PM Athol Town Meeting, Saddle Up Steakhouse, 5751 Highway 54
