Jerome Wesley Graves, 85

Jerome Wesley Graves, known as Jerry by his many friends and family, passed on Feb. 21, 2015, in the presence of family and surrounded with love.

Jerry was born in Lincoln, Neb. on Oct. 22, 1929. He was a veteran, serving in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1954. Jerry owned and operated his own business for many years in North Idaho, and was friends with many local business owners.

Jerry loved to fish, and he collected many antiques. He was also an enthusiastic and excellent bowler.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Augusta Bickford Graves Bruner; father Willis Eldon Graves; and brother Ronald Eldon Graves.

Jerry leaves four children: Ron and wife Sheri, Nikki and husband Donn, TJ and husband Randy, and Robert. He also leaves seven grandchildren: Colton and wife Aubrey, Garrett, Keaton, Montana, Brandy, Regan, and Wayne; and three great-grandchildren: Elisabeth, James, and Marcus.

Jerry was beloved by his family and friends for his generous and open heart.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Sunset Bowl in Coeur d'Alene.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that any donations be made to Hospice House and Hospice of North Idaho at 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, Idaho, 83835.
