Magnuson, McHugh & Company announces promotions

Magnuson, McHugh & Company - a Coeur d'Alene-based tax, accounting and financial firm - announced the following promotions:

* Chris Harrison, CPA, ABV was promoted to director of valuation services. Chris previously served as a senior manager, tax services and has been with Magnuson, McHugh & Company since August 2004. Chris has earned the ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) designation from the American Institute of CPAs and uses that expertise combined with his tax knowledge to help clients establish the value of their companies.

* Ninette Goucher, CPA was promoted to senior manager, consulting and accounting services. Ninette previously served as manager, consulting and accounting services and has been with Magnuson, McHugh & Company since September 2006. Ninette has more than 20 years of experience helping clients with their accounting, payroll, and tax needs and is an invaluable resource to clients needing assistance in those areas. She is also a recognized QuickBooks expert as well as the growing area of cloud computing.

* Chris Shipley, CPA was promoted to senior manager, audit and assurance services. Chris previously served as manager, audit and assurance services and has been with Magnuson, McHugh & Company since December 2006. In addition to experience in the private sector before entering public accounting, Chris has years of experience working closely with governmental entities and small businesses on their financial statement needs.

* Scott Hoover, CPA was promoted to senior manager, audit and assurance services. Scott previously served as manager, audit and assurance services and has been with Magnuson, McHugh & Company since January 2012. Scott has extensive experience in Auditing, with a special expertise in governmental entities. He works with both large and small clients in all aspects of financial reporting and compliance.

* Anthony Oss, CPA was promoted to manager, tax services. Anthony previously served as a senior accountant, tax services and has been with Magnuson, McHugh & Company since November 2010. He has a Masters in tax from Boise State University. He works with the firm's largest clients on their complex tax issues, and is an invaluable resource to other professionals in the firm.
