DEFLATE: The truth is out there
I am writing in reply to Jace, who wrote about the Patriots Deflategate controversy.
There was absolutely no facts used in your letter. You “think” that the whole thing was started because someone made something up on social media. Would the news reports be telling us that the Colts notified the officials of the under-inflated balls if someone just made it up? Would there really be a long and drawn out investigation by the NFL? Would the controversy really survive this long if there was nothing to this story?
You shared your opinion, and that’s great. But in order to have any credibility, next time you should probably check some facts and do a little research before making such claims. What reason is there to believe your claims? No facts were stated, and nothing was proved. I admit that we have yet to know the real truth behind Deflategate, but your claim that it all started because some random person made it up on social media is ridiculous. There is a real story behind Deflategate. We will soon know what really happened, but I am willing to bet we don’t discover that it was all made up by some random person on social media.
