Roger 'Steve' Goins, 56

Steve went to be with our Lord on Feb. 18, 2015, at his home in Post Falls, Idaho.

Steve was born Jan. 30, 1959, in Essex, England, to Albert and Doreen Goins. He spent 10 years serving his country in the U.S. Navy, and later working as a forklift driver in a large storage facility.

Steve was married to Page Fultz on Sept. 17, 1988, and they made their home in the North Idaho area. He was a 10 year member of Real Life Ministries and loved serving the Lord with his wife Page on the ministry team.

Steve loved spending time golfing, camping, fishing, hunting, and four-wheeling, the Tuesday morning men's group, and especially playing with kids "because he was one."

Steve was preceded in death by his mother and father, Doreen and Albert Goins; brother Kenny, who passed when Steve was just a child; and beloved brother Louie Goins.

Steve is survived by his wife, Page Goins; daughter Jolene (John) Bowers; grandchildren Lillian Page and Ivy Jo Bowers; sisters and brothers-in-law Dana (Claire) Fultz, Kathy (Marty) Coleman, Mark (Daniel Cheyne) Fultz, and Lonnie (Tashawn) Lovett; nieces and nephews Josh Fultz, Jorel Fultz, Ridge Lovett and Dylan Jo Lovett; sisters Lynn (Darrell) Beckman and Sherri Goins; nephew and nieces Nicole Goins, Craig Goins, Brittany Smith, and Caitlyne Beckman; and Jennifer Spears Schaffer (Sidney), who was Steve's special angel who donated her kidney to Steve to give him seven more years of life.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, at Real Life Ministries, Building No. 2, 1866 N. Cecil Road in Post Falls. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Steve's name to Bank of America, Post Falls branch.
